Lady Lu Final Message

It had been a pleasure for me to share my knowledge on recent health issues and thoughts. I hoped my blogs would provide an incentive for many to maintain hygiene and stay healthy. The recent COVID-19 had taken the entire world by surprise; it crossed the seas and spread faster than anyone would expect. I was pained to see the mass hysteria the virus had caused: people were fighting over toilet papers, hoarding an unnecessary amount of hand sanitizers, and buying too much cough syrups, depriving the people who needed the syrups more. The virus also caused social distrust, hindered the performance of the economy, and induced the cancellation of many events and gatherings. With these crises in mind, I would like to take a break from this blog post and think of methods to calm this hysteria. After I have accomplished this goal to rectify the damage from the hysteria on the underprivileged people who could not access the needed supplies, I shall return back to my daily updates on blog posts.

Stay healthy and stay safe. Take care…

Are Teens Too Young for Jail?

With the recent release of election polls, I find myself becoming more interested in politics. While skimming through blog posts, I stumbled upon Ranch’s blog post “Too Young for Jail, Just Right for Literally Everything Else.” I agree with Ranch’s point of views that if those in the age between 18 to 24 can “vote, smoke, drink, have sex, drive, and go to war,” then they should also be responsible for their own actions and go to jail when they are in trouble. It is true that the adolescent’s brain does not fully mature until the age of 25. However, part of the adolescent’s growth also depends on their experience. Each new memory they make would serve as a new experience that would change the shape of their brain.
